Chinese Children Adoption International (CCAI)
has announced that next summer, July 18-22, 2011, they will bring the 4th Annual CCAI Adopteen Conference
here to Chesapeake, Virginia to be hosted at Greenbrier Church by Meihua! Jenny Lindstrom, Founder and Director of Meihua,
felt privileged to be able to attend their Adopteen Conference this summer in Colorado. There were 60 adopted Chinese teens
from ages 13 to 19 who attended from all over the country. It was a 4 day event full of laughter, fun, Chinese cultural seminars,
swimming, bowling, games, Chinese cooking, friendships made and much more. Plans are already in the works for a day at Busch
Gardens, skating, Triple R Ranch and the beach for next year's event. There will be cultural seminars to attend, Chinese
cooking, and small group activities. This event is run primarily by teens. The leaders are CCAI Founder's Josh Zhong
and Lily Nie's twin daughter and son, Amy and Art, who are seniors at Seattle University. They organize and lead this entire
event. We are looking for host families to open their homes to out of town adopted teens for 5 days. Mark your calendars.
